As every other girl does, I was looking through my Pinterest feed this morning and saw something that caught my eye. It was a journal entry titled, Mind Body Spirit Morning. As an 18 year old, life is transitioning pretty quickly and I need to remember to live in the moment and to practice “me” time. It is important to stay in the “now” when life gets hectic.
In this journal entry, there is a section for Mind, Body, & Spirit. The goal is to complete one activity from each category every morning. I am taking this idea into my own hands. I encourage you all to do the same because it will help your life become less stressful and most of all, present.
My goal, like the journal entry states, is to complete one activity from each section every morning!
MIND
- Write a journal entry
- Read for 30 min +
- Find and read a daily mantra or inspirational quote
- Plan/Organize the day
- Listen to inspirational music
BODY
- Go to a yoga/pilates class
- Walk/Run outside
- Drink lots of water
- Make a delicious smoothie
- Stretch
SPIRIT
- Meditate (with or without app)
- Pray
- Write a gratitude list
- Practice breathing exercises
- Find something that creates a smile
I encourage everyone to create a list like this to follow every morning. It is so vital to stay present in your life. Complete mindful activities is the perfect way to stay and live in the moment!
